What topics will BrainTech 2025 cover?

The program will cover topics ranging from neuroscience breakthroughs to real-world impact, such as:

Can I speak at BrainTech? How can I be involved?

Please submit your proposal to speak, demo, or provide a poster here. We’d love to show all the wonderful BrainTech research, innovations and startups happening in Australia!

What does my registration include?
Access to the entire day on Thursday 30 October 2025, all refreshments and networking drinks afterwards.
Where is the event to be held and how to get there?
BrainTech is to be held at Jumar, 655 Elizabeth St, Melbourne which is situated on Level 11 of the CSL Building between Queensberry Street and Flemington Road (where Elizabeth Street turns into Royal Parade at the Haymarket roundabout). There is no parking onsite and limited street parking. You can take the tram to and from the city from outside on Elizabeth Street.
What is the cost of registration?
Full registration is $400. Early-bird registration is $300 (available until 31 August 2025). Discount codes offering a 20% saving are also available through supporter networks.
What are the start and end times for BrainTech 2025? When will the program be published?
We anticipate that the conference will run from approximately 09:00-17:30 (AEDT), with additional time for closing networking drinks – with poster displays and demos. We are working hard to publish a draft program by late August.
I won't be able to travel to Melbourne - can I attend virtually?
BrainTech 2025 is in-person only. We have no plans for the conference to be hybrid or recorded.
Can I get a group discount?

Will I receive a certificate of attendance for BrainTech 2025?
We are happy to issue a Certificate of Attendance to attendees and presenters of BrainTech 2025 on request.
What else can I do at BrainTech 2025?
BrainTech 2025 is set in the heart of Melbourne’s biomedical precinct. When registering, you can express interest in more information about tours of nearby facilities – a rare chance to see innovation infrastructure up close.
Will there be a social gathering?
There will be a closing reception at the end of BrainTech 2025 with drinks that all attendees are welcome to attend.
Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your registration up until a month before the event (until 30 September 2025). Cancelled registrations will be refunded – less a $50AUD cancellation fee. Substitutions can be made any time at no cost. Please visit the registration page to review the full cancellation policy.

Have you any measures in place to help attendees feel safe?

The Slatterys’ Community Charter applies to all our events and partner events.

What is the dress code for BrainTech?
Whatever you feel comfortable wearing should be fine. We anticipate most people will be in smart casual attire.
