About BrainTech

Brain conditions — dementia, Parkinson’s, MND, depression, stroke — touch one in three of us. Imagine a world where every mind can reach its potential. Where early detection means treatment starts early and every brain condition is met with precision, care, and hope.

Australia has world-class neuroscience on which to build. Many researchers and innovators are asking the questions and turning answers into technology. We have the legacy of Cochlear and ResMed who led the way and now others, like Synchron, showing such promise.

BrainTech brings together researchers, founders, investors, clinicians, policymakers and people with lived experience — to see each other’s work, cross-fertilise, support each other’s needs and scaffold the journey. BrainTech 2026 is where curious people get to swim in each other’s lanes, just for a day.

Innovation walks on two legs. So much of it is unlocked by serendipity — the conversation that wasn’t planned, the connection that redirects years of work, the investor who discovers they’ve been sitting next to exactly the founder they’ve been looking for. That is what BrainTech 2026 is about.
